Goldfish Pond at 9 months old
By Lynn, on June 6th, 2007
I wanted to share with you a picture of how my goldfish pond looks now at 9 months old. The water is not nearly as clear, but I love it! (I don’t use a filter either.)
You can see the fish when they come near the surface, the plants are doing great, and it is really drawing in the wildlife! My husband thought he saw a frog the other day.

You can see how my garden fills in around the pond this time of year.

I keep the net close by to scoop out leaves.

About Lynn
Approaching-50 mother of four. Thrifter. Content with lots of clothes bought for very little money. Loves retro. (That could be styles from the 40s and 50s. And sometimes stuff even older than that. And sometimes stuff from all time, all mixed up together!) Bluffs about decluttering but secretly loves STUFF. Goes through stages. Has standing and staring spells before rearranging the entire home. Just because. Tune in each day to see what new outfit comes home from G.W. Boutique next. (That's Goodwill, by the way.) Oh, and she owns a spoiled beagle named Annie. And this blog.

My Symphony
To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich; to study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly; to listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart; to bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, hurry never. In a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common. This is to be my symphony.

Good Morning!
We also have a small pond, with three goldfish (large) in it, it’s my understanding that it’s good that the pond looks like pea soup…it means it’s healthy? Our pond goes through phases…. ivy
I think you are right. At any rate, the fish appear to be very healthy.
Thanks!
Lynn
