Here are the plants that’ll be left in place:
A load of mulch will be delivered next week. I have dirt in the compost that will be worked in. It should be beautiful this spring and summer!

Approaching-50 mother of four. Thrifter. Content with lots of clothes bought for very little money. Loves retro. (That could be styles from the 40s and 50s. And sometimes stuff even older than that. And sometimes stuff from all time, all mixed up together!) Bluffs about decluttering but secretly loves STUFF. Goes through stages. Has standing and staring spells before rearranging the entire home. Just because. Tune in each day to see what new outfit comes home from G.W. Boutique next. (That's Goodwill, by the way.) Oh, and she owns a spoiled beagle named Annie. Lucky, lucky you to be digging and playing in your garden!
Don’t laugh– but working with mulch is one of my favorite gardening tasks…I think, because it gives instant results! Such a good finishing look…even when plants aren’t poked up yet!
Get those hands dirty!

Michele, it is pretty chilly here this morning too (but not that chilly!!) Since I should not do heavy work this week anyway, it’s been nice to buy some plants and to plan.
I like working with mulch too! I know exactly what you’re talking about. I have to get some dirt to fill in the holes that were left behind when we took the zebra grass out. Cannot wait to start planting here!
