New Beginnings
Written by admin on April 20th, 2008Some people regard discipline as a chore. For me, it is a kind of order that sets me free to fly.
Julie Andrews

Heed the still, small voice that so seldom leads us wrong, and never into folly.
Mme. du Deffand

I cannot and will not cut my conscience to fit this year’s fashions.
Lillian Hellman

The million little things that drop into your hands
The small opportunities each day brings
He leaves us free to use or abuse
And goes unchanging along His silent way.
Hellen Keller

You don’t get to choose how you’re going to die. Or when. You can decide how you’re going to live now.
Joan Baez

The voice of conscience is so delicate that it is easy to stifle it; but it is also so clear that it is impossible to mistake it.
Mme. de Stael
Here’s to new beginnings. Whether we are at the door or moving toward it. I heard someone say yesterday that we should be content in the experience we are in, but never content to stay in the experience we are in. If we desire change, that is. I like that and I’ve been there.
Happy Sunday,
Lynn

Lynn, your life is changing…..for the better I’m sure. I’m glad you are getting a little break time before starting your new job, knowing you it will be time put to good use! I wish I had your energy - and from what I just read on your sidebar, some of your organizational skills regarding house cleaning etc.
Oh well, doing the best I can for an old lady, and although I’d rather be outside watching the rosebuds unfurl - so pretty your pics - I’ve just said “au revoir” to the carpet cleaner and am now awaiting a bit more drying so I can get back to Spring cleaning, organizing, decluttering, you name it.

Oh, Mary, I can tell that you are a consummate house cleaner and decorator. Your house looks absolutely dreamy from what I’ve seen on your blog. I do have a lot of energy most of the time. I am very glad to be coming back home to work. I’ve missed spending the evenings with my family.
