It’s been awhile since I’ve had time to do this, but today I actually got the chance to swing through a thrift store. I had Princess of the Universe with me, so we just had a blast together looking at clothes and books and stuff.

I could not believe my luck in finding a nice Vera Bradley backpack-style purse with the little change purse still inside, as well as a little Vera Bradley carrying case. It is perfect for a number of things. The black purse is nicely made and will be great for taking out to eat dinner with hubby. I love the one with the beaded handle. It’s very cool and will also be nice for going out with hubby.
What we really lucked out on was clothes for Princess. Mostly Old Navy, Limited Too, and Circo.

One sleep shirt (the dog shirt, of course), a really cute black shirt, a cami and a tank.

Two skorts (one still with tags), a great tiered skirt and a pretty tank top in bright pink with sparkly stuff on it.

A new robe. She just loves robes.

Love, love, love this bright green and blue on her! A cute T, a cute tank and another skort.

A pair of pants that will fit for this next St. Patrick’s day, and two long-sleeve shirts to put up for the fall.

Last but not least are some nice books. Tonight we’ll be reading Christina Katerina and the Box.
We really lucked out!
