Welcome to the garden this morning, again all wet from a heavy rain last night.

I’ve got plenty of things I want to do in the garden. The garden is getting so overgrown in some spots, and there is a “lull” in some places, with nothing blooming right now. I’m setting about this week to remedy that. On the front steps, I sit and think of all the things that happened last week and all that I need to accomplish this week.

As you can see, I did get my skirt made from the sheet fabric I brought home from the thrift store last week. I still have to make one for Princess of the Universe. I love the roses on the fabric.

Looking down on the goldfish garden, it’s sort of getting to be the way I want it. I love that I finally got the zebra grass dug out and replaced with roses. It’ll be so much nicer. I’m not sure what possessed me to put zebra grass in such a small place anyway.

I bought a new mug at a local craft show! I love it. It looks like dragon scales to me. It’s my green tea cup that I use all day while I’m working.
Have a wonderful Monday! Get a lot done!
Lynn
PS — All day yesterday I was thinking of a very dear friend who had a birthday. I didn’t forget. We must talk soon! Love you!

Awww, Thanks Lynn! When is a good day to call you this week? I don’t want to call while you are working.
Jessamy, I thought about you all day yesterday.
I am off on Tue, Wed, and Thur, and Sun. I’ll be out at appts a lot tomorrow.

Your rosy skirt is beautiful. What’s the vine on your arbor? Looks very lush and healthy.
And those kitties – SO adorable, will be hard to let them go!!!
Your skirt is so pretty!! That fabric is so feminine and romantic!
the kitties are too cute ! I would want to keep all of them too..
Hugs,
Robin
I like your new cup, too!
Mary,
The plant is a grape vine that sprung up wild. We’ve been trying for years to figure out what to do to make it produce fruit. We’ve heard all sorts of things from lime and fertilize and prune to wild grapes being male and female and us needing whichever we don’t have! Any ideas?
The skirt — thanks!
Lynn
Robin, my children are saying “that kitty’s mine,” and another one says, “well that one’s mine!”
Sigh. We don’t need anymore yard cats.
As far as the skirt, thank you! I fell in love with the fabric, sheet or not.
Lynn
Sandra,
I used to have a heavy blue cup that I’d bought from a craft fair, but it finally got broken. I’m happy to have another heavy cup that I can’t misplace in the house throughout the day. It’s just too big and too different!

Hi Lynn!
Your skirt is so pretty and thank you for the garden tour! I always love looking at your garden..
Carrie.
Thanks, Carrie! Can’t wait to share my porch tomorrow for Rhondi’s Porch Party!
