Happier By The Hour
Written by admin on July 17th, 2008Do you ever have a day when you just clean and clean, and enjoy it, and know you won’t stop ’til it’s all done?

Dear Husband is relaxing at the moment. He is watching an educational video with one of his sons. It’s about World War II. He told me to order pizza if it is my heart’s content to just keep cleaning. So I did. My oldest went to pick it up. I’m spoiled today. Who knows what tomorrow will bring. I am just trying to be thankful for my fun cleaning day today.

The office is clean and dusted.

The kitchen is clean…

I love for my kitchen to be clean.

Hubby’s bathroom/laundry room is clean.

Even the front porch has been vacuumed and tidied up. Yes, I vacuum the front porch. I have to because I do mosaic work out there, and it’s the only way I feel it’s safe enough for others to be on.
More. More cleaning. I hope to sleep well tonight.

Fifi Flowers, I wouldn’t be able to concentrate on cleaning at your house due to all the beautiful art work!!
But I could try!

Hi Lynn,
Boy,you really did a great job in cleaning.I have never liked cleaning, but love to shop for things to go in the house!!
I “thought”about cleaning out one of my closets today, but got as far as opening the door, and then decided it was too much work involved. So,I closed the door, and sat down at the computer, where I have been the rest of the day.[Shame on me for not doing any housework today.] I don`t even know where to begin on cleaning out my closets. Most of all the clothes in one closet is clothes that I can`t wear anymore, don`t like,or don`t want to get rid of.Even though my closets are very small,it is still overwhelming to me to dig in and get rid of stuff.I have 3 itty bitty closets with just my things in it.
So,any time you want to come over and “enjoy”cleaning, you are more than welcome,LOL.
I wish I had half the energy you have.I would be really embarrassed if somebody was to come by here, uninvited.
Anyway, everything in your house looks spic and span clean!! Enjoy your day tomorrow…..

Vicki, thanks!! I have really had fun cleaning today, but I actually like to clean. I drive my kids and husband crazy sometimes worrying about cleaning, but things do get very, very messy here too, frequently! Sometimes I’m afraid we’ll have someone drop by because it gets so messy.
I’m just glad to have had a day at home to clean and enjoy my simple, old house.
You made me laugh — you got as far as opening the closet door. I have done the same thing before.

Lynn, your house looks so cozy! I just want to curl up in that rocking chair with a good book and a cup of coffee and not move!

Thanks, Amber! I wish I could do just that today. I’m working today.
