The Heat Wave Lets Up
Written by admin on August 9th, 2008It seems we’ll have a cooler day today. Only in the 80s.

The heat wave is letting up a bit. I would love to be in the garden today.
I hope you’re having pretty weather today. Think of me today. You know where I’ll be. All day.

But you know where I’ll be on my breaks, too.

It’s been hot and fairly dry lately and the garden shows it. I’ll be spending my time thinking today about what to take out of the garden. There are some things that are not doing well enough to keep and I’d like to make room for something that would do better. The fall is a wonderful time to garden. Redo. Plan for spring. And just be outside. Fall will be here soon. Well, sort of.
There’s something about sitting and typing all day that’s good for me. I can think about things. Plan things. Learn new things. It can be a very healthful time, if one looks at it that way.
One last thing I forgot to post a picture of from my last Goodwill trip.

Summer is a good time to find winter things. Everyone is hot and cleaning out like crazy. I find the best sweaters, coats and jackets in the summer. I like this little white jacket.
Have a lovely Saturday,
Lynn
