I always love to walk, but sadly I usually let everything else get in the way. When I am in one of walking phases, I can't imagine how I go along everyday without walking...I always feel so good. But, there are also phases like the one I'm in now, where I feel like I can't find the time (or the energy) to just do it. It sounds crazy, I know...I'll never understand myself. Good for you for sticking with it! Hopefully I'll stick with it on a more continuous basis one of these days because it is such a good form of exercise...from the inside out! :)

Emily -- :)

Michele, how do you manage with the cold! You are tough, I know! The treadmill is the perfect alternative. Can you see your birdfeeders from where you work out?

Thanks, Melinda!

Liane, I have to make myself to care of me.

Louise, so sorry to hear about that. My right knee bothers me, and I wonder sometimes if I am helping it or making it worse, but I keep going. It may be unbearable one of these days, but so far I manage. Taking care of animals is exercise AND therapeutic.

I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving…..

I use to walk but fell about eight years ago and my knee has not been right since.
Therefore, if I walk a lot I am in a great deal of pain during the night…

However, I do spend an hour or more each morning taking care of the donkeys and that is my time to think and pray..

Not like I should - and I have the time. That's it - you've inspired me to take time for myself and do some walking. Especially since I love the cold and I'm home pretty much every afternoon by two.
Thank you, Lynn!!

Yes, I sure do!

I love walking outside...like you, I love taking in nature and all the unexpected little treasures!

But it's so cold and damp right now, I've been sauntering on my treadmill.. about 35 minutes a day.

When I don't do it...I feel a bit crabby... now that I'm in my mid-40's, I do it for different reasons....maintaining weight and overall healthcare...

Happy Day Lynn!
