About Lynn
I am the mother of four delightful children: a 23-year-old son, a 20-year-old son, a 17-year-old son, and a bright and bubbly 13-year-old daughter. I share an apartment home with my 17-year-old son and 13-year-old daughter. My little home on the internet is called Rose Cottage because of my love for gardening, roses, and all things romantic and Victorian. Welcome.
I'm a North Carolina girl and I love sharing North Carolina links and information. I do medical transcription from home. My hobbies include making sweet little dolls from clay who are named and have their own stories to tell. I also make old-fashioned brooches. These are for sale in my Etsy shop.
For 13 years continuously, I homeschooled some or all of our four children, but the time came that our homeschool had to be closed. It was the end of a beautiful chapter in my life. I will always be a strong supporter of homeschooling and I will continue to review books and maintain my homeschool website, The Healthy Homeschool.

My Symphony
To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich; to study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly; to listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart; to bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, hurry never. In a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common. This is to be my symphony.

Dear Lynn,
Such lovely dresses! Now I’m REALLY ready for spring!
And the inspiration sounds great; I’ll go take my vitamins right now (And make a green smoothie!).
Love,

Hi Lynn,
I love the photo of the dresses. It is so pretty! It would be a great prompt to lend inspiration for a poem about spring. I can just imagine a group of ladies sharing tea in the garden on a warm afternoon all pretty in pink!
Even Better I’d love to see a sketch of the dresses on the clothes line in soft pastel pencil!
Done large in scale it would be a wonderful focal point in Princess’s
bedroom. Anyway, I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
I’m going to spend some time with my Dollhouse and play!
Thinking Spring,
Diane
Yeah, I love this picture and the dresses. I’ll definitely put T-shirts under them, or soft, longer, old-fashioned cotton slips that I have. Love to collect those! And leggings. And flip-flops. It’s cold here today, plus it’s a work day for me.
Happy Saturday!
Lynn
Oh, what a beautiful picture! I am still getting up earlier 3 days a week to make time for exercise. You, too?? Love your thoughts on this post, friend.
Great inspiration Lynn! I love the dresses! I may have to print this out to put on my fridge for motivation!! lol!!
I completely LOVE this post! I has all the inspiration I need this morning
Thank You!
