Dear Dawn, thank you so much for the comment. I think you will like the workbox system. Even though Michaela was older, she really, really liked it; and, she liked the “surprise” of pulling things out of a not-clear cereal box. It worked for us, especially since we had so little space. I think the key is just following through and staying enthusiastic about it. Thanks again for your comment!

I’m encouraged to “meet” another mom with OLDER children trying to implement some of the workbox ideas into life. Your son John reminds me of our 13 year old son, Caleb, the firecracker in our family who seems to need to be the center of every conversation.
Looking forward to hearing how your planning goes. I’m hoping for a simple plan that will keep all accountable and productive.

Annette, thank you! We really enjoyed using the cereal boxes! It took some time to make them, so you need to make sure you will use them for something! I know it deviates from the true system, but I love Sue Patrick’s book and ideas and just went with what I had room for.

Heather, thanks! I’m not sure I’d have the author’s approval. Sue Patrick has a book full of amazing ideas and concepts. At least here, I’ve been happy taking what I can use and what I have room for. I am very low on space! Thanks for your comment.
