Marqueta, I'll be sure and let you know how this 3-sister planting goes! :)

Diane, book recommendation today just for you. :)

Diane M., so glad you stopped by. Joseph is still really enjoying this. We laugh now when we think that he said before we started Hamlet, "I just want to go on record as saying that I am totally against this."

Kate, thank you. :) I'll be sure and let you know how it all turns out.

Hi Lynn,
I took a few minutes to visit and get caught up! The garden photos sre so inviting. It will be interesting to see how the corn, squash, okra bed works out!
I am finishing up our Hamlet unit with my Juniors and i am pleased to report they really got into the whole experience. What are Joseph's final thoughts on the play?
Your organization station is cool.
I am always trying to adjust and readjust my environment to find the most efficient way to work. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
Take care,
Diane M.

Dear Lynn,

Wow, now I know we really MUST be long-lost sisters! I know I've done that before (Along with misplacing the container I was pre-soaking seeds in before planting, till I found them dead and gone days later.).

Maybe that's how the Native Americans came up with their Three Sisters Plantings~you may be on to something!

We are having more strong winds today (So far I've only noticed one shingle blown off the roof)~Good thing we don't live in hurricane country! Ha Ha.

Till next time,

Love,

Marqueta
