I wanted to just pop in and say hello. I’ll try to make a real post later. It may be tomorrow. I’m just busy with life.
The garden needs attention.
I am planning Michaela’s curriculum for next year, and if I was not already overwhelmed enough, I went to the Homeschool Gathering Place in Raleigh yesterday. Oh, I love that store, don’t get me wrong, but I just added about a dozen things to my list of things we could do, and yet I know I need to stick with basics and not buy a bunch of stuff we don’t need or won’t use.

I don’t have any pictures to share yet today, so I’m dragging this really cool photo from the archives from last September. Isn’t she awesome?
I am hauling a bunch of stuff to Goodwill today.
I’m going to shop for a large rug for Michaela’s room so the bunnies can run better. They slip and slide on the wood floor.
I am also trying to work on Daniel’s school work scrapbooks a bit.
Did I mention cleaning house? And laundry? And ironing a couple of shirts for hubby? And cooking?

She doesn’t look like she’s having a hard time handling her work, so why should I? (Maybe because I’m human and I invent things that need to be done?)
Too much! Too much!
I’ll check in later. There’s a new spider in the garden. I’ll try to show him to you.

Dear Lynn,
Wow, you weren’t kidding about being busy! I hope you’ve met all your goals, or at least feel like you’ve accomplished a lot.
Wouldn’t it be fun to be a praying mantis, the king of the garden (or is it queen?)? I saw one fighting with a cat-faced spider in her web once, and it won!
Love,
Marqueta
Sounds like you had a full day friend. We spent a day at home – no trip to the doctors – which was nice. Wish all were well. Poor Daniel has had a rough day of it. Joshua however seems to be doing much better. I want to see several days in a row of no sickness before I’ll believe it’s gone though!
Hope to see you sometime soon – when we are all well!
Love
Leslie
