Brothers

Okay. I’ve had a video here all day for sharing, but I’m tired of the fact that it kicked my sidebar down on my desktop, so I’ll just share a link to this grainy video of my boys acting like the three stooges at Grandma’s and Grandpa’s on Thanksgiving Day. As with the following still photos, I’m sure you’ll be able to tell which child is the oldest. He has that bossy way leadership quality that oldest siblings have.
So, here’s the link to the video. And following are some still shots of my three sons.

I love those boys.

About Lynn
I am the mother of four delightful children: a 23-year-old son, a 20-year-old son, a 17-year-old son, and a bright and bubbly 13-year-old daughter. I share an apartment home with my 17-year-old son and 13-year-old daughter. My little home on the internet is called Rose Cottage because of my love for gardening, roses, and all things romantic and Victorian. Welcome.
I'm a North Carolina girl and I love sharing North Carolina links and information. I do medical transcription from home. My hobbies include making sweet little dolls from clay who are named and have their own stories to tell. I also make old-fashioned brooches. These are for sale in my Etsy shop.
For 13 years continuously, I homeschooled some or all of our four children, but the time came that our homeschool had to be closed. It was the end of a beautiful chapter in my life. I will always be a strong supporter of homeschooling and I will continue to review books and maintain my homeschool website, The Healthy Homeschool.

My Symphony
To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich; to study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly; to listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart; to bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, hurry never. In a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common. This is to be my symphony.

I am soooo glad I am not the only one. My boys are only 11 and 10, but if they are anywhere near each other they are doing that. Constantly.
Dear Lynn,
Ahh, brotherly love! Isn’t it sweet? Growing up with three older brothers, it looks VERY familiar!
Love,
Marqueta
MamaHen, I hate to offer you so little hope, but it never stops!!
Marqueta, I am sure Michaela would be able to totally relate to your experiences.
