Carrie, you are so sweet. I wish you could come over and we could cook dinner together. :) I am feeling pretty good today. I surely cannot complain.

Lynn,
I am sorry that this all has you kind of out of sorts...I hope all the errands come to an end...that really does make like come to almost a frantic pace...I really LOVE this new pin...I think the dangling parts make it that much more lovely.
I am glad that the change of meds seems to be evening out. I hope it stays that way and you feel better for A LONG TIME!
Wish I could bring you dinner!
Love,

Jen, thank you so much! I'm glad you're here and wish we could have tea. :) Actually my current doctor, who's very good, has me taking evening primrose twice a day. Since I've been under her care, I've felt much better, but I think the change in meds rocked the boat a bit. I went from generic levothyroxine to brand name Levoxyl. My TSH had climbed back up near 5, so she upped me to 75 mcg. HOWEVER, we are thinking that there was such a significant difference in brand name and generic that 50 mcg of the brand name will work for me and I may not need 75. Doesn't it just take awhile to get all the knots worked out?! ;) Thank you for telling me about the primrose oil. It confirms for me we are on the right path.

Lynn,
I just found your website recently and just LOVE it! Wish you could pop in for a cup of tea. Anyhew, I wonder if you've ever taken evening primrose? It can help balance things out. My thyroid is challenging without it. It takes a few weeks to notice a difference, but just wondered if you've ever considered it.
Take extra good care,
Jen

Connie, thank you so much! I knew everyone could totally relate. Whether we work or not, seems we all have things that pull hard on our time! Your get-away sounds very relaxing. I think we need it sometimes! And all that snow? Ohhh....

Diane M, the busyness of life -- I know what you mean! And we received your package today! It was wonderful! Thank you so very much. :) Michaela loves it all!

Ginger, Michaela and I sat in the floor tonight with Annie and played catch! It was very fun and relaxing. Thank you so much for the tip on the thyroid! I have mullein on hand. I love that plant! So pretty. I don't think I have lobelia, but I'll look. In the meantime, I think I'll use the mullein. I was drawn to it before I got my diagnosis and felt I got some benefit from it, though I didn't know what at the time. I wondered if my problem was related to my lymph nodes then.

Marqueta, thank you for the encouragment. :) Life is certainly a procession of seasons. I cannot complain right now, but it's just BUSY! Maybe my little garden elves would come in and clean if I left wild strawberries or something out? They used to have samples of greens and whey around here -- I'll see if I can find one to send you!

Dear Dana, thank you so much for ordering! I'm glad you like it. I have two pins that I love very much that I attached to my curtains at the pullbacks. Very pretty. I wish so much I could get some chickens. Thomas said he thinks we have room for one or two, so I'm hoping! I hope your dad is doing well. :)

Puffin-Hen, thank you for your comment. You are so right that it is day by day and hour by hour. Seems I've lost sight of that lately by looking at too much at one time. It helped to sit down and look at my notebook and be reminded of specific goals again.

Thank you, April! I have one favorite one day and another the next day. It's difficult to undertsand -- until your thyroid starts giving you problems -- just how much the thyroid does!

MamaHen, so good to hear from you! I'll be right over. I always get cheered when I visit your blog!

Jenn, thank you for your encouragment. It was windy today, but boy the sun was shining and it was so nice! You are right that we are all in the same boat. It's nice to have such kind "co-rowers." ;)

Emily, thank you so much for the kind words of encouragement. It's hard to get still sometimes. Even when I don't feel like taking another step, sometimes my mind stays in a whir! It always feels good, though, to sit down and get quiet.

Lynn, here's a warm ~hug~ for you; I'd deliver it in person if that were possible! I so understand the desire to slow down time; when our health falters, the world beneath our feet continues to spin, and our responsibilities do not diminish. I know full well how exasperating it can be, but not feeling in control can be a blessing when we remember that the Creator of the Universe is also Sovereign Lord of our lives. "My times are in your hands." What comfort in that phrase!

You chose the best remedy. To be still, and "seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." One of my favorite quotes states, "Do not worry about tomorrow....God is already there."

May you find rest in His promises today!
P.S. I adore the pin. What a beautiful medley of trinkets. It makes me think of Italy, Botticelli, Vivaldi, and the Renaissance........

Oh, yes, we do understand. I hope it helps writing it all down. It is an essential step in taking time with the Lord and asking for His help to order your day. We are all in the same boat. I hope you feel better and that the sun shines soon.
