Marqueta, I am sure you are the picture of loveliness in your blue. I hope you are feeling well these days. :)

Emily, my maternal grandmother was funny and sweet and just the best. I do know how you feel, however, as my paternal grandfather was very hard to be close to. I never really felt close to her all of my life.

Clarice, thank you so much! :) I am longing to get outside and really work in the garden.

Connie, South Carolina is a beautiful state! I especially remember a visit to lovely Table Rock Park. Anyway, thank you for your kind comment! Maybe you'll be a Carolina neighbor one of these days. :)

Lynn, you look the very picture of contentment with your face turned toward the sun.

I loved the sad and sweet story of your grandmother's passing. You were blessed to have such a lady in your life. My "Grammy" was not a lovable person, I hate to say, but Anna Rose has my mother and mother-in-law to make up for what I missed.

Oh dear Veronica! I have seen skies this week that exact shade of blue. And the crocuses remind me of dainty frocks. New dresses for Easter! I can just imagine the buoyancy of your spirit today after viewing all these signs of spring. "God's in his heaven; all's right with the world."

Dear Lynn,

Bless little Veronica's heart! Doesn't it all the difference in the world, when the sun is shining and the flowers remind us to lift up our heads towards the light?

Thank you for sharing the link to your post about your grandmother; I was very touched. What a sweet legacy to pass on.

And the pin is SO pretty! And I'm wearing blue today, too, from my turtleneck and maternity top, to my homemade maternity petticoat :) .

Love,

Marqueta
