The Eagle Has Landed
By admin, on March 10th, 2010
Thomas is settled in at home again. I picked him up this morning. Hopefully this will be a successful go at a full recovery.

From yesterday: Michaela has her own garden plot with — so far — carrots, peas, turnip greens, spinach, and cat grass. Some time this week we’ll plan radishes.
Have a lovely Wednesday. Today will be a day of getting life as we knew it back on track.

About Lynn
Approaching-50 mother of four. Thrifter. Content with lots of clothes bought for very little money. Loves retro. (That could be styles from the 40s and 50s. And sometimes stuff even older than that. And sometimes stuff from all time, all mixed up together!) Bluffs about decluttering but secretly loves STUFF. Goes through stages. Has standing and staring spells before rearranging the entire home. Just because. Tune in each day to see what new outfit comes home from G.W. Boutique next. (That's Goodwill, by the way.) Oh, and she owns a spoiled beagle named Annie. And this blog.

My Symphony
To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich; to study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly; to listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart; to bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, hurry never. In a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common. This is to be my symphony.

Dear Lynn,
So glad to hear that your honey is back at home….praying for no more complications and a steady reoovery.
So it looks like you’ve gone directly from winter to summer. Nice hat!
Enjoy the gardening. I can’t wait to get some seeds started indoors. Still waiting on my soil. Isn’t it strange that we buy dirt? LOL
Have a blessed day in the Lord!
Lynn,
How wonderful that you have been able to plant already!
I know that Spring is making its way up to us…I am looking forward to its arrival!
Many blessings to you and your dear family,
Maria
Lynn,
Very glad to hear that your husband is able to recover at home.
Kisha
Lynn,
I’m so glad to hear that Thomas is home. The bunnies are so big! They look much smaller in other pics.
Kim

Cathy
so happy to hear thomas is home. home is so much better than a hospital. and i’m sure you’ll be a great nurse.
good luck with the garden, michaela!
Dear Lynn,
I’m glad that Thomas is home now; may he stay there and get better soon!
Good for Michaela, having her own plot of green babies to care for; I hope she has great success with it.
And I did have a hat just like yours, but someone smashed it, so I made it into a bonnet
.
Love,
Marqueta
Emily, my husband says winter’s not over yet! I am hoping to be able to protect this little patch of garden before it truly gets warm, though we are in zone 7B I think, so we should be okay with these particular plants in a raised bed. I hope!
Maria, thank you! There’s nothing like spring, is there?
Kisha, thank you!
NCMom, the bunnies are getting very big. In fact, we need a new cage. Time to build!
Diane M, thanks so much!
Weavermom, thank you!
Valerie, yaay! I’m glad you like the pin! And I got my surprise today! Wow, it is so very beautiful. Thomas was most impressed, as am I. Michaela will be totally thrilled. She just came in from playing and has not seen them yet, but I’ll for sure let you know how she reacts!
Cathy, thank you!
Connie, you rae so right! Thomas was going so stir crazy to get home!
Marqueta, I’d never have thought of making a bonnet, but if this hat gets squashed, which is certainly a possibilty in this house, I’ll be consulting you!
