Ahhh, little garden walks in the mornings. What would my life be like without my little garden walks? I don’t really want to know. My garden is teeny-tiny, and the older I get the more I appreciate it. My garden may be small, but it takes up a huge space in my heart.

I could have a huge garden that someone else tends and have it mean very little to me. Life is like that. It’s not just about gardens.

Spring is here! A couple of days ago I saw my first creatures of the year: a snake and two spiders. The little brown snake was out enjoying the warm sun. The little spiders were wispy and almost without color, but there they were.

A thousand shades of green come popping through the ground. The sagey green of the tulip foliage, the tapering green daffodil stems, the dark-dark green of new mint leaves, the red-green of rose leaves, and on and on. Green is a color that God made for the garden. No wonder green is a calming color.

I listen to the water splash into the goldfish pond as I keep my eyes focused on finding tiny creatures. It won’t be long until creatures will abound. Joy.

Michaela’s little garden spot is taking off. Her containers full of cat grass, that line one end of her garden are showing off lots of new green. The bunnies are going to love the cat grass.

If you get on the ground and look closely, you’ll see the little seeds emerging. My Michaela is a gardener.

I think we can safely say, after reading our share of sweetly illustrated children’s books, there may be no surer sign of spring than baby bunnies.

Midnight had five baby bunnies sometime during the night on Monday, March 15th.
Yes, spring is finally here. And Sage-Bunny Cottage is getting fuller and fuller.

I am currently sitting in Barnes and Noble working on a program with Christian. We are sitting beside a table of eight homeschool ladies discussing Charlotte Mason teaching techniques and planning on how to get to the Charlotte Mason conference. I thought of you guys!

Simply lovely! I’m so impressed with the baby bunnies…so cute! =)
Love your pictures and how could M not be a gardener with her mama teaching her to appreciate so much about nature?!
Love your little bunnies!!! So cute! Your garden is delightful friend – just like you!

I had that same exact thought about the size of my garden yesterday. If it were as large as I thought I wanted, I’d have to hire someone to take care of it. I couldn’t do that, I love it too much. I’ll happily make do with what I have.
I saw a snake yesterday. I didn’t know they came out this early.
Hi Lynn,
Ohhh! Those cute little bunnies. My daughter wants one sooooo bad. I just don’t think I can do an indoor bunny. How much maintenance do they require on the outside?? I’ve read the are good pets. I just don’t know??!! Any feedback?
Boy, I’ve had lots of questions..for ya the last couple of posts. Hope you don’t mind:)
Spring is here! Snow or not, I know things are beginning to burst forth!
Lovely garden and sweet bunnies, Lynn. I love what you said about your garden being small but it takes up a huge place in your heart.
That is how I feel about my vege garden. Small but perfectly mine.
Yea for Mikayla, gardening like her mama.
