Don’t Argue With Beagles

It was a lovely day out Saturday.  Yes it was.  I, on my breaks, wanted to just sit in the sunshine and look at flowers and pretend like I didn’t have to do anything I didn’t want to.

Annie, on the other hand, was pulling on the leash and looking at me with an obvious statment in her eyes:  rise up and walk.

I can tell you first-hand that it’s pointless to argue with beagles.  Snoopy was a beagle.  Remember?  You couldn’t argue with Snoopy either.  Annie won.  And I ended up being glad we went on a walk because I saw a fat groundhog sitting in the edge of what is obviously its abode, because he was sitting in the same place on the next walk we took.  One of these times I’ll get a picture to share.

I am happy to report that over the weekend my greenhouse got some attention.  It’s hard to show you any progress because it consists of just more framing, but that’s huge, really!  Carpenter-man is framing in for the old windows and he built my one long workshelf into the greenhouse.  I.  Can’t.  Wait.   By the way, that is John helping out.

On a creature note, I knew you’d want to see the baby bunnies all snuggled up in their little nest their mama made for them, even if it’s a bit blurry.  I didn’t want to disturb themwith the flash, so that accounts for the blur.  Aren’t they just adorable?

And just look at those teeny tiny adorable absolutely precious to the point that I want to touch them little baby bunny teeth.

In the garden.  So pretty.  They almost don’t look real.  But they are.  And I can’t quite figure out why this one has black inside…

and this one has yellow.  Different stages?  And the real problem is that I don’t have time to look it up or really even spend too much time worrying about it lately.  I just enjoy them.

  • Hi Lynn,
Just a quick visit as it is getting late but I had to tell you how much I enjoyed your post. Smiles on the Carpenter! Beautiful flowers, and the bunnies are just precious. Thanks for the lift!
    Have a merry Monday,
    Diane

  • Loved your pictures friend and I had to laugh at the discussion with Annie. lol

I’m so glad Thomas is feeling well enough to be working on your project – and that John is able to help. (Can’t believe how big and handsome he is!)

Hope your week-end was delightful like you are and look forward to seeing you later this week!

    Love
    Leslie
