Enjoying Wonderland

Today will be another FIAR co-op, where we “row” the book Roxaboxen.  What a lovely book!  If you have not read it, you should.  It will inspire your children to make a magically fun village — right in their backyard, with streets lined with pebbles and shells and whatever else they can find.

I hope you enjoy the wonderland within your school and life today.

Pictures later.

  • We love that book. Last fall when we went camping we were the only campers in the remote campground. It was filled with trees. The kids literally raked rows of leaves and such clean all through the trees around our camper and set up a Roxaboxen village. They dragged picnic tables to each set up and played for hours everyday. I took pictures of the ‘town’ they built and blogged about it but when I changed my template things got all messed up. Maybe I should redo it. They did a great job.

  • Dear Lynn,

We’ll have to check our library for this book; it sounds like it’s right down our alley ;) .

    Love,

    Marqueta
