Through the Sleet

Dear Friends,

We get too little snow here in my part of North Carolina to not be somewhat delighted when the sleet or ice or snow starts falling.  So today it was no different when they called for a mixture of precipitation that let the schools out early and sent every able-bodied person out to Food Lion to stock up on snacks and essentials.  And birdseed.

This little snowbird, as we call ‘em, but probably technically a junco, loved the birdseed!

The birdies were everywhere.

And so were the squirrels!

Wish I could stay longer but gotta work this evening.  Hope you are enjoying your weather, whatever it is!  Terry, I bet you are getting the falling ice up your way!!

xoxo

    Dear Lynn,

We’ve had a deluge of rain today, and we’re supposed to get an inch of snow tonight; hooray for moisture! Idaho has had a huge snowstorm, but I’ll take my one inch. :) I think the cardinal is planning some kind of attack, don’t you?

    Love,

Hi Terry!! Ewwww for the ice and accidents! Glad to hear you “sound” well and happy! Thanks about the photos. Yeah, he looked so sweet! Love you! Lynn

Marqueta, I bet you don’t miss all that snow right now! And to see the daffodils peeking through the ground! I must get some planted. I don’t have any here! Yikes!!! I love your comment about the attack. :D Love, Lynn
