Extreme Couponing Part I

Well, I am not extreme.  Yet.  But I have incorporated coupons back into our lives.  Yesterday I did a lot of price comparison and coupon shopping.  When the Mister got home, we drove over to Harris Teeter together and got all of this…

For 20 dollars.   And actually there are three more cans of soup missing from the picture.

I think I did pretty good!  I printed coupons for the Bird’s Eye right from their site.  Harris Teeter currently has them at BOGO (buy one get one free).  The Progresso soups are also currently BOGO, and I had coupons for all of those.  The Progresso coupons came from newspaper inserts.  The Ginger-Ale was just a HT special.  The Suave body wash was on sale for 2$, way more than I should have spent, and I did not have a coupon, but when someone needs it, they need it.   The Stonyfield yogurts were 10 for 8 dollars, a great buy, and I had a Harris Teeter store coupon for 1.25 off 4 containers.

So there you go!

Do you use coupons?

Ha..that is funny what you said about beagles…they eat and sleep! I forgot about the eating part momentarily! My dog just uses me for my smells..after cooking especially. All she does is look at what we are eating…just staring. We rarely give her any people food, yet she never gives up…

that is great…what you bought! I was signing up for free sample items, online..but then I got tired of giving out my personal info. But no harm came from it…no one ever hacked my email account, so maybe I should start up. At least start up getting coupons, if not freebees. You have inspired me! My favorite item was 2 pkgs of pecan sandies (normally around $3.79/pkg) that I got for 50 cents each. Walgreens was not too happy with all my coupons for that product that day! I’ve heard of other coupon users who have had stores get mad at then! Imagine!

Hi Andrea! That’s funny about the smells. And Annie just stares too. She just looks so forlorn, staring at our food, with her lonesome-hungry eyes. Ha ha. 😀
