Heading to the Atlantic Coast

Dear Friends,

The Mister and I are heading out. I never thought I’d feel this way, but how nice to have adult sons and daughters to “hold the fort down” while we are gone!  And how sweet to pack lightly for two, thinking only of the bare minimum!

I will have more to share on return.  Lots going on lately that I have not had time to write about, including the thistle, below, growing close to the house.  I will also take lots of pictures while I am gone and I will send them to my instagram.  Feel free to follow:

Will see you all when I return!

Bon voyage! Yes, I remember when I was sad thinking my kids were growing up and soon we wouldn’t be buying toys for Christmas (I’m such a trite person!) a decade ago. But you are right…there is a time for everything under the sun, and when that time comes, it is enjoyable!

So sad about the greenhouse going out of business:(
