Enter the Dragonfly. And some plaid.

Dear Friends,

You got a glimpse of him yesterday, but the best is yet to come.

There is something in me that loves a dragonfly.  It’s something I have in common with my (step…nah) daughter Meghan.  She loves them too.

This one flitted around the part-blooming, part-spent bed of flowers in the backyard.

He was good to pose for pictures.  Maybe he’s been watching me posing for pictures in the backyard for Dylan’s Dress:D

And speaking of Dylan’s Dress, new outfit on today…

and I will show it to you in color, for those of you who don’t like too much blog-hopping.

I hope everyone is having a beautiful day.  Tamera Beardsley runs a lovely blog, and I saw a quote on there yesterday that I wanted to share.

The single greatest thing you can do to change your life today would be to start being grateful for what you have right now.” Oprah

On that note, I will run.  This was just a quick break.

Dear Lynn, you look so lovely in the black and white! Always a winner, no matter what..

Your dragonfly photos are so lovely, you can see the lacy wings in detail … sounds like all is well with you in the world today.

We are hanging in there with our transcription jobs – we hope we have them awhile longer! Don’t work too hard, think of you often. Xo Terry

Hi Terry! I always love hearing from you. Thanks about the photos! Yes, hanging in there with transcription, but I hear of more and more hospitals letting go of their teams to outsource. Then, it seems, no one is really happy. :( You don’t work too hard either! XO Lynn

    Dear Lynn,

I’ve been dragonfly-watching in the garden lately, too~ Who wouldn’t love something that eats mosquitoes (who are terrible this year!)? Your tickseed is looking great; I have to get good photos of the red one I have that is WAY bigger than the tag said it would be, and is smothering the neighbors. They sure attract those hoverflies!

    Love,

    Marqueta
