Anyway, I often find tattered old books at the thrift stores, but cannot stand to see the lovely illustrations get thrown out just because a book is falling apart.  I rescued some Anita Lobel illustrations and made some pins for personal use.  She’s got some of the most adorable art work!!

Michaela and I will gather up the names of the commenters on February 28th and I’ll let Michaela draw a winner.  So leave a comment!  Some lucky person can wear this bit o’ green pin and be sure they don’t get pinched.  :)

I knew the moment I opened the box, it was even better than I dreamed!

The journal was made by Kris at Blissful Elements, another absolutely beautiful blog!  This journal is indeed blissful.  I’ve never had anything like it.  I think holding something so beautiful will improve my writing.  How can it not?  And wouldn’t you know, I do journal every day, and I am on the last two pages of my current journal.  How amazing is that??

This journal is so sweet.  So girly.  So vintage and so whimsical!  Louise and Kris, I love it!! 

I can WISH on a star.

I can pretend I am a VILLAGE QUEEN.

Just look at this beautiful tag, wound round and round with beautiful vintage ribbon.  And doesn’t everyone need a glittery silver star?  And the pink glitter!  Oh my!

Now, what I couldn’t believe is that Louise put in something special for our doll house!  My Princess was amazed.  Louise must have known we needed blankets in the doll house. 

The dolls are snug under this beautiful, warm, handmade quilt.  Thank you.

And Louise sent an exquisite piece of art for the little dolls to hang in their modest home.  (Miss Priss attached it where she wanted it with a little piece of sticky-tack.)

She is adorable!

Oh, and there is a book for the dolls to read!  How did you know they were interested in faeries?

Louise, I want you to know that little Princess of the Universe set to work straight away drawing faeries and baby faeries in the book so her dolls would have lovely pictures to look at.

I immediately found pictures of me and my honey and put them in my locket. Who else would go in the locket but my husband of nearly 20 years??

And here is the lovely locket on my sweater. (It’s chilly here today.)

Now I cannot wait to fill the pin up with two other charms. I will be returning to MyCharmedLife.

Whenever I wear my locket I will think of Heather, and of course my hubby.

I about fainted to learn I had won something! (That’s me as “waiting for response” under the $50 gift certificate at My Charmed Life

I ordered a pin and a beautiful locket charm today. I cannot wait to get them. I will show you a tiny little picture of me and my true love tucked away in my locket after it arrives. Once it arrives, I am planning to order two more charms for my pin! I am so excited!!!
