  1. Oh my, they were so good! Jason and I split the plate down the middle! My heirloom tomato plant has gone wild! There are about 12-14 tomatoes on that one plant right now. I’m treating it with lots of love, in hopes of growing these tomatoes to full size before it gets cold and the days get short! Mama, I dipped these slices in milk/egg whites before pressing really hard into the corn/meal and finely crushed chips. I think the trick for me is laying them in the very hot oil and NOT messing with them until they are ready to turn. I have had epic failures before. 🙂 xoxo Lynn
