Some Blog Love and Garden Photos

Good morning! I have time for a quick note. This afternoon I am scheduled to jam with friends and acoustic guitars. In the meantime, I am so grateful just to be able to sit down at my art desk and drink my coffee and journal a little bit.

My Etsy shop, A Bit of Birdsong, is evolving into ephemera and papers. As you know, paper is definitely one of my passions. Look for the shop to grow exponentially as I finally turn in the keys to the little red caboose. What a great learning curve it was. The next brick and mortar I run will be in a much busier location. I already having a real estate super sleuth watching for potential locations.

That said, I listened to my sweetie play last night.

On a gardening note, I have begun to find creatures. Oh, what a sign of a little ecosystem! Parsleyworms have found me.

A little garden zen…

Oh, and some blog love. I came across a beautiful calendar over the weekend. It was outdated, but I guess someone local had purchased it and then donated it. Very lovely. I looked up the website. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such an interesting ABOUT page. All of the shop members have written a Haiku about their jobs.  Wild Ink Press — cool stuff.

I have some things to do in the Etsy shop, so I must run.  I really appreciate all of your kind comments.  Between moving out of the Sidetracked shop and working on A Bit of Birdsong, AND working full time out of town a lot lately, I have had no time for this blog or to really leave comments for anyone, but I took tomorrow off of work and I plan to play some serious catch-up.  I plan to rest some as well.

Enjoy this day!

Lynn
