Texture: Reptile Skin to Peeling Paint

Last night, Jason and I spotted the sweetest little tree frog.  It had gotten up onto a hand railing.  He was very friendly, and did not seem to mind having some photos taken.  We (I) did not want to blind him with bright light, so I took a green stick-light from my purse to give Mr. Frog (or Mrs. Frog) a light show.

The enchantment with textures and layers is always present.

Wire-wrapped dyed Imperial Jasper.
Rose, from a beautiful painting at Fetch retail store in Hillsborough, North Carolina.
Peeling paint, from a huge dresser at Fetch retail store in Hillsborough, North Carolina.
A rusty wind chime hangs in the garden at Sidetracked.

Enjoy this day!
